You don't have to live like a monk to enjoy this broiled monkfish marinated in a lemon-butter and wine sauce. It's so good you can't help but break any vow of silence.

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. monkfish fillets (2 fillets about 1-inch to 1 1/2' thick)
3/4 cup of butter
3 tbsp. white wine
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. salt

Methods/steps
Cover broiling pan (at least 1/4 inch deep) with foil. Heat broiler to “low”. Place Monkfish fillets in pan and season with salt and pepper. Slice sticks of butter in 1/8 inch pieces and lay on top of fish. Sprinkle lemon and wine over fish. Sprinkle fish with parsley. Place in broiler for about 15 to 30 min checking the fish every few minute and take out of oven when fish starts to flake.
