Sautéed Asparagus
These asparagus are boiled and then sautéed with butter and toasted almonds. Last but not least, a splash of lemon juice creates a mouth-watering aroma.

Ingredients
2 lb. fresh asparagus
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Methods/steps
Select the ends of asparagus. Cook asparagus in boiling water to cover 3 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Plunge asparagus into ice water to stop the cooking process and drain. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add asparagus, and sauté 3 to 5 minutes. Toss asparagus with lemon juice and remaining ingredients.
