Black Bean Dip
When it comes to great-tasting dips, paint it black... as in black beans. This simply delicious dip is chock full of great taste and it's as healthy as it is hearty.
At a glance
2 cups cooked drained black beans
4 tsp. tomato paste
3 Tbsp. water
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. lime juice
1/2 tsp.ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (to taste)
2 green onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. mild green chilies, chopped
Process all ingredients except green onions and chiles in a blender or food processor until smooth. Garnish with remaining green onions and chiles and place in a serving bowl.
