This is a great recipe to add other things too. You can add in the sauté mushrooms or whatever other veggie are in your fridge. This is a keeper and easy to make.

Ingredients
8 oz. angel hair pasta
2 oz. butter
1 cup chopped onions
2 tsp. crushed garlic
1 tbsp. flour
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian style diced tomatoes
1 cup frozen peas
1 (3 oz.) jar bacon bits
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

Methods/steps
Boil pasta in salted water for 4 minutes and drain. While pasta is cooking, heat butter in a large sauté pan. Cook onions and garlic 5 minutes. Stir in flour and blend in evaporated milk. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Add peas, tomatoes and bacon. Stir in drained pasta, sprinkle with cheese and season with pepper. Toss and serve.
