Decorative Candied Cranberries
This is a multi-faceted recipe that's great for the holidays. Either use the cranberries for decorations or top your favorite dessert with this berry good side.
- Prick each cranberry twice with needle.
- Boil the sugar in water until it spins a thread. Put in the cranberries and cook them gently until syrup jellies when tested from the tip of a spoon. Remove berries one at a time and place on wax paper. Let stand until dry. Dip the berries in granulated sugar.
- This recipe makes about 25. They are a festive decoration or garnish.
