Ingredients
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • Methods/steps
    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Combine sugars and oil and mix thoroughly.
    3. Add vanilla and egg whites and beat well.
    4. Stir in water.
    5. In separate bowl, combine flour, milk, baking soda, and cocoa powder; add to wet ingredients.
    6. Stir in chocolate chips, raisins, and nuts.
    7. Drop by heaping tsp. onto lightly oiled cookie sheets.
    8. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
    9. Remove from sheets immediately and cool on racks.
