This pork shoulder will soak up flavors from potatoes, onions and sauerkraut seasoned with caraway seeds, paprika and raisins while cooking. And, it will still keep its original smoked fragrance.

Ingredients
1/2 to 2 1/2 lb. smoked pork shoulder roll butt
1 16 oz. pkg. sauerkraut, drained
3 medium potatoes, sliced
2 medium onions, sliced
1/2 cup raisins
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. caraway seeds
Pinch paprika
Pinch black pepper

Methods/steps
Layer sauerkraut on the bottom, then potatoes and onions in crock-pot. Combine raisins, flour, paprika and pepper and sprinkle over onions. Cut shoulder in half lengthwise and place on top. Cook on “high” for 4 hours.
