Home-Baked Cornbread

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk or buttermilk
1/4 cup cooking oil

Methods/steps
Sift together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat until just smooth-do not over beat. Turn into a greased 9x9x2 inch-baking pan. Bake in a 425 degrees oven for 20 minutes.
