It's a drink that's worth the wait. We promise partygoers will be running for this rum concoction. But give yourself plenty of time to prepare this fruity offering as it takes at least a week to brew. Then sit back and enjoy a nice cold cup of pineapple rum punch.
2 large just-ripe pineapples, peeled and cut into chunks 2 liters of rum 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 vanilla beans
In a very large jar, combine the pineapple chunks and rum. Add the sugar and vanilla beans. Cover and let the rum stand at room temperature, stirring it occasionally, for at least 1 week.
