Ingredients

1 cup(s) butter, softened
6 ounce(s) packages cream cheese, softened
2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
6 ounce(s) bulk Italian sausage
1 cup(s) shredded Swiss cheese
1 tablespoon(s) minced chives
2eggs
16 tablespoon(s) half-and-half cream
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
Directions
In a mixing bowl, beat butter, cream cheese and flour until smooth. Shape tablespoonfuls of dough into balls; press onto the bottom and up the sides of greased miniature muffin cups.
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Sprinkle sausage, Swiss cheese and chives into muffin cups. In a bowl, beat eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Pour into shells; bake at 375 degrees for 28-30 minutes or until browned and serve warm
