Slow-Cooked Pork & Sauerkraut

1 (20 oz.) can or bag sauerkraut 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 lb. ground pork sausage 1 onion, sliced
In a medium bowl, combine the sauerkraut and brown sugar. Then place in the crock-pot. Arrange the sausage and onion over the sauerkraut. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours. If it appears dry, add some water if necessary. Reduce heat to LOW setting, and cook for two more hours.
