Forget kissing these grits -- you'll kiss the cook when you dip your spoon into these creamy, dreamy grits. A popular Southern staple, these grits go great with just about any dish -- from fried chicken to fried shrimp. And they only take a few minutes.

Ingredients
1 quart water 1 cup yellow stone ground grits 1/2 cup milk 1 cup chicken stock 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. white pepper 1 pint heavy whipping cream

Methods/steps
Bring water to boil in heavy pot. Add remaining ingredients and return to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Grits are done when they are a thick and creamy consistency.
