Feta Lamb Burger

When you're feeling like a little lamb, this Greek burger is sure to satisfy. Prepared with ground lamb, the feta really brings home the great taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) minced fresh cilantro
  • 3/16 cup(s) crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoon(s) minced red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper
  • 16 ounce(s) lean ground lamb
  • 1 Nonstick cooking spray
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 4 red leaf lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices (1/4-in. thick) tomato

Instructions
 

  • Prepare broiler or grill pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cilantro, feta, onion, cumin, salt, red pepper, black pepper and lamb.
  • Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  • Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 3/4-in.
  • thick patty.
  • Spray a grill pan or broiler pan with nonstick spray.
  • Place patties on pan and cook 4 minutes on each side or until done.
  • Line bottom half of buns with lettuce leaves.
  • Top each with 1 tomato slice, 1 burger and top half of bun.
