Smoked Salmon Pate
Hors d'oeuvre -- an elegant prelude to a classic dinner that your friends will remember. Salmon never tasted so good! Give yourself a pate on the back.
Ingredients
- 6 ounce(s) smoked salmon
- 3 ounce(s) softened cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon(s) minced onion
- 1 cup(s) chopped nuts (pecans)
Instructions
- Drain the smoked salmon from the oil.
- In a blender, grind the salmon until fine.
- Set the blender on medium speed and add the cream cheese, the lemon juice, and the minced onion.
- With your hands, shape the pate into a ball, then roll in the chopped nuts.
- Display on a plate and serve.
