Cheese Crisps
Don't think you can make your own crispy, tasty snacks at home? Well you cheddar believe it! Plain rice cereal and delicious sharp cheddar team up for an amazing treat that will have you tossing out the processed, store bought versions.
Ingredients
- 3 cup(s) rice cereal
- 1 cup(s) butter, softened
- 2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
- 2 cup(s) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter until fluffy.
- Slowly mix in the flour, salt and cayenne pepper.
- Stir in cheese and cereal.
- Shape into 1-1/2-in.
- balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve warm or cold.
