Chicken Francese
Chicken francese is a traditional Italian favorite. However, you don't have to leave the comfort of your own kitchen to enjoy this mouthwatering meal done right. One bite and you'll say that's amore!
Ingredients
- 2 4-oz. boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup(s) seasoned bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoon(s) butter, divided
- 1/2 cup(s) olive oil
- 1/2 cup(s) whole cream
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 4 ounce(s) golden sherry
- 1 pinch(es) cane sugar
- 2 tablespoon(s) fresh parsley
- 4 ounce(s) cooked fettuccine
Instructions
- Lightly pound chicken breast.
- Dip chicken in breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil and 1 Tbls butter in skillet; brown chicken over medium heat.
- In saucepan over high heat, combine cream and 2 Tbls butter.
- When it boils, add lemon, sherry and sugar.
- Reduce to thick consistency.
- Add parsley.
- Plate fettuccine, top with chicken and pour sauce on top.
