Creamy Chicken and Waffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) butter
  • 1/4 cup(s) Bisquick
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 2 cup(s) milk
  • 2 cup(s) cups cut up cooked chicken or turkey
  • 2 cup(s) Bisquick
  • 2 tablespoon(s) oil
  • 1 1/3 cup(s) milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter over low heat in saucepan.
  • Blend in Bisquick and seasonings.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in milk.
  • Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Boil and stir 1 minute.
  • Stir in chicken.
  • Prepare waffles.
  • Beat all ingredients with mixer until smooth.
  • Pour batter from cup or pitcher into center of hot waffle iron.
  • Bake until steaming stops.
  • Lift off waffle carefully with fork.
  • Makes 3 - 9 inch waffles.
  • Serve hot creamed chicken between each two-waffle section.
