Shrimp with Polenta
This is the Italian version of Shrimp and Grits. It has lemon and mushrooms to brighten and bring flavor to the dish.
Ingredients
- 7 large shrimp
- 1/2 cup(s) Baby Bella mushrooms
- 3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 floz white wine
- 1 teaspoon(s) fresh garlic
- 1/8 cup(s) scallions
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
- 1 33/100 cup(s) 2 small polenta cakes
- 1 lemon wheel
- 3 ounce(s) lemon white sauce
Instructions
- Saute shrimp and mushrooms in olive oil until the shrimp are just pink.
- Deglaze with wine.
- Add garlic, scallions, salt and pepper.
- Place over polenta.
- Finish with lemon sauce.
