Cabbage & Beef Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 24 ounce(s) chopped cabbage
  • 16 ounce(s) ground beef sirloin, browned
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 3/4 cup(s) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup(s) uncooked rice
  • 1 3/4 cup(s) low fat vegetable broth
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients except broth together in large bowl.
  • Transfer to 9x13 inches baking dish and pour broth over the top.
  • Bake covered at 350 degrees for 60 minutes, then uncovered for 30 minutes (or until rice is cooked).
  • If it starts to dry out before rice cooks, add 1/2 cup water over top and stir.
  • Ready in 1 hour and 40 min.
