French-Style Chicken

It’s time to give your chicken dishes a French kiss. The combination of wine, creamy mushrooms and sour cream make this exotic poultry pleaser absolutely divine.

Ingredients

  

  • 6 medium chicken breasts
  • 4 floz dry white wine or vermouth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup(s) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup(s) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup(s) flour
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) paprika

Instructions

 

  • Sprinkle chicken breasts lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Place chicken in crock-pot.
  • Mix white wine, soup, and mushrooms until well combined.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Sprinkle with a little more paprika.
  • Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours.
  • Remove chicken and stir in sour cream mixture during last 30 minutes.
  • Serve sauce over chicken.
  • Ready in 4-9 hours.
