Ingredients

  

  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup(s) butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
  • 1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 2 cup(s) baking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup(s) pecans, chopped coarsely
  • 1/2 cup(s) golden raisins

Instructions

 

  • Cream the sugar, butter and egg.
  • Mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, vanilla, apples, pecans, and raisins; mix together well with the creamed mixture.
  • Pour the batter into a round pie dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the cake is done and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean, not doughy.
  • Ready in 40 min.
