Classic Steak and Gravy

There isn’t much at “steak” with this simple dish, that gets its flavor from creamy mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix. Toss together and bake – then pick the perfect side to suit your mood.

Ingredients

  

  • 32 ounce(s) eye of round steak
  • 1 salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope of dry onion soup mix

Instructions

 

  • Place steak or roast which has been seasoned with salt and pepper in a casserole dish.
  • Pour mushroom soup over steak.
  • Sprinkle with onion soup.
  • Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake steak at 350 degrees for 2 hours or bake the roast at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
  • Ready in 2 or 3 hours.
