Beef-Stuffed Potatoes
If you are a meat and potatoes kind of person then this spuds for you! Much like shepherd's pie, this beef-stuffed taters recipe uses a different take with a similar taste. A plate of potatoes never tasted so good!
Ingredients
- 16 ounce(s) ground beef
- 6 tablespoon(s) butter
- 3/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 6 med. potatoes, baked
- 1/4 cup(s) milk
- 1 cup(s) onion, minced
- 1 tablespoon(s) parsley flakes
- 1/2 cup(s) celery, finely chopped
- 1 343/1000 cup(s) cheddar cheese soup
- 3 slices American cheese, halved
Instructions
- Brown beef in 1 tbsp butter in skillet; add the salt and pepper; set aside.
- Cut baked potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out pulp into large bowl.
- Mash and add remaining butter and the milk.
- Beat well and add beef and remaining ingredients, except cheese.
- Fill shells with the mixture and put on baking sheet.
- Top each with a half slice of cheese and bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, about 15 minutes.
- Ready in 20 min.
