Autumn is upon us, and that means leaving the hot summer weather behind. With the change in temperatures comes a change in activities for your family. So why not take advantage of the cooler climate with some family-friendly activities that you and your kids are sure to fall for? Of course, the brisk fall air is ideal for some great outdoor adventures, especially when you consider that winter is right around the corner.

Naturally, the changing foliage is always a spectacle for everybody to see. Take the kids on the walk through the woods, the fields or a city park. Collect leaves and save them for fall-themed art projects. If you're feeling really creative, have kids bring along a notebook or sketchpad where they can journal their surroundings or draw a picture of the nature scenes.
