Need a Quickie Mani? Hot Hair? Beauty Stores Deliver
Your favorite places to buy beauty gadgets, products and potions – particularly Ulta and Sephora – are the go-to stores to shop when you need to stock up on pretty products. But they’re also branching out and offering beauty services. Ulta has offered salon services, including facials and hair styling and color, but did you know the superstore also holds special events to promote their products? It’s a great time to get a taste of pricey lines like Dermalogica, Bliss, Bare Minerals, Stila and many others. Just sign up for the store’s rewards programs, and you’ll get notified of the goodies available in stores. Sephora has also launched some spalike services in a quick-and-easy kiosk format. They’re capitalizing on the nail art trend – think celebrities like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj – and will do your nails on site in select locations without an appointment.
They partnered with Xpres Spa, the company that offers spa treatments like quickie manis and massages in airports, to give customers the opportunity to get their nails done fast. You can choose a beautiful, glittery style, like their “Glitterati” manicure, which is a coat of gold polish blinged up with crystals and glitter. Or do a regular manicure, which will cost just $15. Add an accent nail or go all out with nail art with prices ranging from $20-$75, depending on the design. Download designs on Sephora’s Facebook page if you’re more of a DIY girl. The nail bars aren’t nationwide yet, so check your favorite location to see if it will be offered.
