That doesn’t mean you can’t eat at the golden arches or its other fast counterparts, just be certain to see the light. It goes beyond just passing on the super size. While that is a smart calorie-cutting option, you still can’t afford to indulge in fried, greasy food and sugary sodas on a regular basis, especially when there are a host of healthier alternatives on almost every menu. Why not opt for a grilled chicken honey mustard wrap, a yogurt parfait and a bottled water for just 420 calories? There are plenty of choices that can fit your healthy meal plan. Enjoy a plain grilled chicken sandwich, broiled fish, chili, a plain baked potato, fresh vegetables or a side salad. Substitute a soda for water or unsweetened iced tea. Bypass anything fried, breaded or prepared with cream-based sauces. Also avoid salad dressings that are high in fat and calories. Go light or don’t go at all.
