Chocolate Chip Meringues
Hungry for something light and sweet? These mouthwatering meringues are not your average cookie - they're so delicate you won't be able to stop at just one.
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 3/4 cup(s) white sugar
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 cup(s) mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line 2 cookie sheets with aluminum foil.
- With an electric beater, beat egg whites until peaks form.
- Add sugar into the egg whites 1 tbs at a time.
- Gently stir in vanilla and salt, beat until the egg white are stiff and shiny.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop mixture by tbs onto the sheets.
- Turn off the oven, place the cookies inside the oven and leave them for a few hours or overnight.
