Chocolate Fudge Frosting
Classic chocolate frosting is a great way to top off your cakes, brownies, or cookies. You can dress it up with a spoonful of instant coffee.
Ingredients
- 3 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3 3/4 cup(s) confectioners' sugar
- 3/4 cup(s) milk
- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave.
- In a large bowl, combine confectioners' sugar, vanilla and 1/2 cup of the milk.
- Sift in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Gradually add remaining milk until desired consistency is achieved.
- Let stand until spreadable.
- Frosting will thicken as it cools.
