Quick and Easy Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pound(s) lean ground beef
- 8 ounce(s) (1/2 package) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 333/1000 cup(s) ketchup
- 1/8 cup(s) worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 container prepared plain mashed potatoes (such as Country Crock)
- 1 cup(s) low-fat cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 Vegetable oil spray
Instructions
- Spray a casserole dish with vegetable oil.
- Brown ground beef or turkey breast in a skillet; drain.
- Return beef to skillet and add thawed frozen vegetables.
- Heat through and add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir well to combine.
- As mixture heats, mix together mashed potatoes and cheese, if using.
- Place mixture in casserole dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes (and cheese, if using) over the mixture, forming a thin coating.
- Heat through in a 350-degree preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
