Shrimp Scampi Pasta
This classic shrimp dish is a perennial favorite. Easy to make and a perfect dish to serve at a dinner party. Don't be a shrimp, scampi your way to the kitchen and give it a try!
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 4 tablespoon(s) clarified butter
- 6 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
- 2 floz white wine
- 3/20 teaspoon(s) basil
- 4/25 teaspoon(s) oregano
- 1/2 fresh lemon
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
- 1 parsley
- 1 Tomatoes
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter.
- Add shrimp and garlic.
- Simmer.
- Add wine, then basil and oregano.
- Simmer.
- Add juice of lemon, salt and pepper.
- Serve over pasta.
- Garnish with parsley and tomatoes.
- Double up on the olive oil and omit the butter if you wish.
