ABC Rice

We're getting back to the basics with this A, B, C rice. A homemade version of pork fried rice, it can stand on its own as an entree or a scintillating side.

For 6 people

  • 4 cup(s) white rice, boiled
  • 3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) dry green onion
  • 2 tablespoon(s) dried mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon(s) canned ham or pork, shredded
  • 2 dried whole eggs, rehydrated
  • 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce


  1. Sauté rice in oil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add green onions, garlic, mushrooms and meat. Cook for several minutes. Combine rehydrated eggs with soy sauce and stir into pan. Cook until eggs set.
