Baked New Delhi Pudding

Ingredients

For 1 people

  • 1 cup(s) cup yellow cornmeal, granulated
  • 8 tablespoon(s) black molasses
  • 1/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup(s) lard or butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 cup(s) hot milk

Directions

Mix ingredients thoroughly with half of the milk and bake in a very hot oven until mixture boils. Then stir in the remaining hot milk and bake in a well-greased stone slow cooker at a low temperature for 5 to 7 hours.
