Tomato-Basil Angel Hair

Tomato-Basil Angel Hair

Ingredients

For 4 people

  • 5 1/2 cup(s) stewed tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1/4 cup(s) fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 16 ounce(s) angel hair pasta, cooked (reserve about 1 cup of the cooking water)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Parmesan cheese

Directions

Saut garlic and onion in olive oil. Add tomatoes and stir. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Add pasta water and basil and cook for 2 minutes. Add angel hair and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
