Top Reality Star Beauty Brands
Lots of stars shill for beauty brands, but did you know many of them have their own cosmetics, clothing, and even food and drink lines? For a reality star who needs to extend her 15 minutes of fame, slapping her name on a label might just be the ticket. But some of these lines are actually worth their salt. For example, NY Housewife Bethenny Frankel is known for her Skinnygirl line of cocktails, but she’s also launching two new beauty lines, Skinnygirl Face & Body Solutions and Skinnygirl Mommy. They’ll offer cosmetics that include detox face masks and tanning lotions, among other items for busy moms. The Kardashians are well-known for promoting products like Quick Trim and Fusion Beauty, but they’re also the new, proud owners of the Kardashian Kollection at Sears. It has all the jumpsuits and animal prints a girl would need to get through a Hollywood winter. And to complete the Kardashian look, the sisters also have a product called Kardashian Glamour Tan at Ulta and other retailers. It’s a clear gel self-tanner that also contains protective antioxidants.
Over at Septhora, Kat Von D offers her signature cosmetics, many of which offer you the opportunity to get that smoky, nude eye look. The line is heavy on drama, much like Kat herself, so if you like an edgy look, go for it. Ramona Singer joins her Real Housewives of New York cohort Frankel in creating a skincare line with her somewhat famous moniker on it. Her TruRenewal line is available on her Web site and includes green algae-based skincare products – perfect for toning down the puffiness of a night of pinot grigio drinking…and yes, she has her own wine brand, too!
