Best Cereal Bars
Skip the preservatives and additives of store-bought cereal bars and stock up on your own homemade creations. These simple, delicious bars can be baked ahead of time and stored for your on the go breakfast needs.
Ingredients
For 12 people
- 2 cup(s) Raisin Bran cereal
- 3/4 cup(s) flour
- 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/4 cup(s) butter
- 1/4 cup(s) applesauce
- 8 ounce(s) strawberry yogurt
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon(s) flour
Directions
Mix first 6 ingredients. Press the half of the cereal mixture into a greased 8X8 pan. Mix yogurt, egg and flour and spread over cereal mixture. Top with remaining cereal mixture. Press lightly. Bake for 30 min in a 350-degree oven. Cool and cut into bars.
