BBQ Beef Strips
These yummy strips are absolutely great served over rice or pasta! Get saucy with this simple recipe tonight.
16 oz. lean, round steak cut into strips
1 3/4 cup (one 15 oz. can) chunky tomato sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. Brown Sugar Twin or Splenda
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/3 cup water
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 cup onion slices
In a large skillet sprayed with cooking spray, brown the meat. In a medium bowl, combine tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Brown Sugar Twin, mustard, water and black pepper. Pour sauce mixture over the meat. Layer onion slices over the top. Cover. Lower the heat and simmer 15 minutes; stir occasionally. Serve over rice or pasta.
