Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 3/4 cup sliced onion
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1 can tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

  • Methods/steps
    1. Melt oil, add onions, saut until tender. Add meat, brown lightly. Add rest of ingredients, except cheese, stir with 2-tined fork to avoid breaking beans. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole, top with grated cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
