Greek Spinach Dip
Yes, you mayo enjoy this Greek-inspired version of the famous spinach dip. Prepared with Greek yogurt, it's every bit as good as the original. When you're looking for a simple starter, dip it good with this extraordinary dish.
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 package chopped spinach, thawed
1 packet vegetable soup mix
1 round loaf pumpernickel bread
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain the thawed spinach of excess liquid. Mix together all the ingredients, except for the loaf, in a medium bowl and refrigerate until you are ready to use. Hollow out the of bread and cut insides into large cubes. Place shell on baking sheet with chunks surrounding and bake in oven on 350 for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and fill with spinach dip just before serving. Place on a platter and surround it with the chopped, baked bread pieces. You may want to chop extra bread, crackers, or vegetable crudités.
