Vodka Cranberry Punch
When the weather outside starts getting frightful, this warm vodka cranberry punch is sure to warm your bones. It goes down smooth and is sure to be the buzz at your next holiday gathering.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 5 cup(s) unsweetened pineapple juice
- 5 cup(s) cranberry juice
- 1 cup(s) brown sugar, packed
- 2 cup(s) cranberry sauce
- 12 ounce(s) water
- 1 teaspoon(s) whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- 16 ounce(s) vodka
Directions
In a large saucepan or stockpot, combine the juices, brown sugar, cranberry sauce and water. Tie the whole cloves and cinnamon sticks in cheesecloth and add to the pot. Bring to a low boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or longer. Stir in the vodka, and the butter just before serving. The butter will float on top and may need to be replenished occasionally, or float a small pat of butter in each cup. Serve in mugs or heat-resistant punch cups.
