With Curves, you get a workout that combines both aerobic and strength-training exercises using hydraulic resistance machines.

With more than 10,000 locations and growing, Curves prides itself in creating an atmosphere that is chock full of fun and a supportive climate. With more than 4 million members, many of the people who attend Curves have found the workout establishment via word of mouth.

Designed only for ladies, you do not have to change weights or struggle to work the machines. There is always a trained staff on-hand to make sure that you are using the machines properly and maintaining the right form. Through simple resistance work, you are able to move throughout the circuit with ease. Instead of lifting and lowering weight, you push and pull your way through the course.

The workout includes five steps: warm-up, aerobic exercise, strength training, cool down and stretching. During the 30-minute circuit, you move from machine to machine performing aerobics in between. By using the weight-bearing machines, you will also lower your risk for osteoporosis and other degenerative diseases.
