Mom's Creamy Noodle Side

A little bit of effort goes a long way. Enjoy this creamy noodle dish with just about any main entree -- beef, chicken, pork or fish. It's also the perfect potluck dish when you're looking for a way to stir things up.

3 chicken bouillon cubes

1/4 cup water, boiling
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups cottage cheese
2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup onions, chopped
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 (16 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked and drained
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded


Dissolve bouillon in water. Combine soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic, and hot pepper; add bouillon mix. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream and noodles; mix. Place noodle mixture in a greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish and pour soup mixture evenly over top. Sprinkle with Parmesan and a dash of paprika for color. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or heated through.
